@DarkMatter2525@NotMikeHarlow If the alphabet person hired the Christian to cater they's/them's/their event and was offended by the cross, I would expect the Christian to tuck it in or spin it around to the back. I also wouldn't expect the Christian to complain online about it afterwards.
The joke works because it isn’t a joke.
A huge chunk of these women spent years screaming that women are no different from men when it comes to handling the most powerful and demanding positions in the world. They demanded the same authority, the same trust and the same accountability. Then one of them sends her husband out for takeout, wraps exercise bands around her 5-year-old, her 3-year-old and her 8-month-old, and suddenly we are told it was hormones, sleep deprivation, a broken system and that any one of us could have been her.
Give me a fucking break.
That is not solidarity or feminism. It is the same old chauvinist argument women spent decades calling oppression: women are too emotional, cannot be trusted when their hormones take over and should be protected from the consequences of their own actions. All those pink shirts and “Same Lindsay” videos do is prove the very thing women fought against for decades.
Postpartum psychosis is real and it is rare, but turning a woman who killed her three children into a movement, a personality and a hashtag is grotesque. You do not get to demand your place in the boardroom, on the bench and in the war room, then throw accountability out the window the moment a woman does something monstrous.
Three children are dead. That is the story, not her trauma, not her hormones and not the fact that you see yourself in her. Three children are dead, and no amount of pink shirts, hashtags or therapeutic language changes what she did.
Vanity Fair drops journalist Brittany Romano after video of her smiling, posing and winking at a courtroom camera during the Lindsay Clancy murder trial explodes across social media.
The magazine says Romano was credentialed to write a personal essay about growing up with Clancy, but it is now cutting ties after what it calls "clear conflicts with our editorial standards and processes."
Romano defended her behavior amid the backlash, saying she smiles through anxiety and has "nothing to apologize for."
This is “environmentalist” Mark Zuckerberg’s yacht. It’s 87 feet longer than a football field. It burns over 1100 gallons of fuel per hour.
In a college commencement speech he urged students to help “stop climate change before we destroy the planet” as one of the defining issues for their generation.
Either he doesn’t really think man made Climate Change is a problem, or he’s one of the biggest selfish narcissistic assholes the world has ever produced.
These are the same people who say we should live in 15 minute cites, use electric stoves, drive electric scooters & eat bugs.
Whatever these Billionaires say, I’m doing the opposite., https://t.co/cAgw3TOFKf
For the first time ever, the U.S. is spending more on interest payments ($1.22T) than on national defense ($1.17T).
The cost of past debt now exceeds the cost of protecting the nation.
The bill for decades of borrowing has come due.
As I used my ID to buy Sudafed (ridiculous) I kept thinking how badly I feel for all of those congested black Americans and stuffed up married women who have to suffer with sinus pain & pressure. The other stuff is total fugazi. Truly Jim Blow 2.0.
@LeftwaffenWatch@realMaalouf@Mr_Finch_ Oh, there have been plenty of frightening demonstrations of savagery already. Nothing will open their eyes, because I suspect they're getting exactly what they want.
A very interesting contrast between two American-born athletes at the Olympics.
Freestyle Skier Eileen Gu (right), despite living her entire life in America, competes for China and gets paid millions of dollars to do it.
Figure skater Alysa Liu (left), who just won a gold medal for the United States, is the daughter of a Chinese immigrant who participated in the Tiananmen Square protests.
China attempted to recruit her but she refused and needed enhanced security from the State Department at the '22 games in Beijing because of it.
In a world of Eileen Gu's, who sell out their country for cash, be an Alysa Liu. 🇺🇸
