๐ In the summer, we botanize at outdoor locations and begin an hour later than our usual time. This month, we will check out Kendall Indian Hammocks Park. Old hands and new learners are encouraged to come โ and itโs free! https://t.co/MkjkXlD44z
We had a fascinating field trip today at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Martin County. Here is a blooming blueflower butterwort (Pinguicula caerulea). Thanks George for leading the trip!
For those going on the field trip to Jonathan Dickinson State Park tomorrow, be aware, we will have to visit another part of the Park as Kitching Creek Trail recently burned, so most plants aren't visible right now. You may wish to skip this one. Guides will be there however.

This is a good tip mentioned at our last monthly meeting. Join us this Tuesday evening when we will learn about native plants for hedges and screens. https://t.co/VWF4I9VPsz
It's the dry season in South Florida, if you have no water features in your yard, consider placing a dish with rocks or pebbles and fill with water for small critters such as snakes, lizards, bees, and other insects. Refill every other day.
