This is the farmstead where the fatalities occurred in North Dakota last night.
It’s been totally swept away. There appears to be very little/no sizable debris of the house left nearby.
This is a potential EF4 candidate IMO, which would be ND’s first since 2010.
It does not get any closer than that. Greensburg was likely just spared from a repeat of May 4, 2007 when a large, violent wedge tornado wiped the town off of the map.
History always repeats itself.

Same towns, similar times, similar tornadoes. History nearly repeated itself tonight.
The difference in times you ask?

The Greensburg, KS tornado on 5/4/2007 formed at 9:03 pm and dissipated at 10:05 pm. The one today formed at ~9:20 pm and dissipated at ~10:05 pm.
