@manwithoutfear I order twice purgatory AND Paradise thru amazon, about 3-2 years ago, first Time the book was damaged, second time they never send the book, to this day the only one missing in my collection.

If someone asks you who the most influential, most impactful, most consequential comic book creator of the past 50 years is, it’s this man. It’s Frank Miller. He turned 68 yesterday and his work on Batman and Daredevil is what you see reflected on screen from talents like Christopher Nolan and Matt Reeves. His Wolverine work was depicted by James Mangold. Every Daredevil and every Batman work produced since he transformed them in the 80’s reflects his signature style & aesthetic. This pic is from 1994 when I drove up to Golden Apple to meet him. Sin City, 300 and Ronin are other magnificent examples of his art. I can’t think of anyone who has left a more indelible mark since Jack Kirby. #marvel #dc #batman #daredevil #wolverine
