ABC7 obtained a letter sent directly to California Attorney General Rob Bonta warning him that Andy Duong — now federally indicted in a major bribery and corruption case — had secretly recorded him in a compromising situation and planned to use the footage for BLACKMAIL!

The May 2024 letter from businessman Mario Juarez laid it out clearly. It told Bonta that Duong “has a recording of you in a compromising situation” and that he routinely recorded elected officials without their knowledge for later use in blackmail.

This is the same Duong crime family that was deeply embedded with Bonta. They called him brother. They partied with him. They sat courtside together at Warriors games. Then the FBI raided them, and the indictments followed.

Five months after receiving that letter, Bonta’s reelection campaign began spending campaign funds on private lawyers from one of the most expensive firms in the state. The total reached four hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars.

Four hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars. Paid by the Attorney General of California while dealing with a blackmail threat tied to a federally indicted donor network.

No one spends that kind of money on elite legal protection unless the situation is extremely serious. The top law enforcement officer in the largest state in America was lawyering up because one of his own donors allegedly had compromising footage of him.

The letter is real. The warning about the video is real. The four hundred and sixty nine thousand dollars in campaign spending is real. All of it is now public.

I was curious where they pushed all the homeless individuals who normally sleep on the promenade in downtown Santa Monica. This morning I walked the beach and found 60 people sleeping on the sand. We need to mandate care and housing for our homeless. We shouldn't move people around like pawns. If we're going to use the resources move them, we should use those resources to get them into housing and get them off the street. Not just keep shifting them around.

They're digging holes to use as bathrooms and leaving trash everywhere on our precious beach.

This is our beach, our lifeline, the reason we're the most beautiful city in the world. I love this city and I love our ocean. Let's keep it peaceful and beautiful. Let's start fixing problems, instead of shifting them.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Tens of thousands of Spencer Pratt voters are now receiving rejection letters from the county clerk saying that their ballots were not counted due to signature irregularities. Yet, Governor Gavin Newsom just passed legislation that would make it illegal for anyone conducting oversight, to contest signatures that they deemed fraudulent. Democrats allow ballots to be signed with an X, a -, or a 🙂 to pass and count, but all of a sudden, only Republican signatures are being flagged for irregularities, rejected, and not counted. 🤔 One of these California Republican voters said that his signature has been on file for over 20 years and there has never been an issue until he voted for Spencer Pratt. Nithya Ramen has beaten Spencer Pratt by less than 3000 votes. There are at least 18,000 Pratt voters who received this letter saying their votes were rejected.

One thing a lot of people never realize about zebras is that they’re not just striped horses. They’re incredibly social, each one has a completely unique stripe pattern, and they can even recognize each other from a distance by those patterns alone.

Watching her hand-feed one zebra quickly turns into two when another wanders over looking for attention. It’s a cool reminder that these animals are far more curious and interactive than most people think.
