A Gen Z joined the team.
Week one.
During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”
Gen Z nodded.
Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”
The room went quiet.
- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.
Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”
Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”
Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.
That’s when the team realized something.
When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:
Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out
only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”
So Gen Z chose differently.
- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.
They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.
It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.
And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…
Can you really blame them?
My fellow Kenyans;
I just watched a video of William Ruto proudly saying he has reduced the cost of getting a National ID from Ksh300 to zero… and suspended the Ksh1,300 replacement fee.
But wait. Before he became President, IDs were already free.
He’s the one who introduced the Ksh300 charge and increased the replacement to Ksh1,300.
So basically, you start a fire, then show up with a bucket of water and expect applause. That’s classic political manipulation.
And honestly, it’s sad that his government has failed so badly that they now have to gaslight Kenyans with "victories" that didn’t exist.
This is normally where a strong opposition would travel across the country, break down these lies, and protect the public.
But since they’re quiet,
We’ll have to do this ourselves.
Stay awake, brothers and sisters. Don’t let anyone rewrite your reality.
Anybody from Eldoret Law Court identify that rogue police officer assaulting this lady. We need his full name, station, and badge number.
To the lady please share your contact information so we can pursue legal action against this brute in uniform.
The law is crystal clear: only female officers are permitted to handle, arrest, or frisk female suspects. What happened here isn’t law enforcement it’s barbarism, abuse of power, and a total disgrace to the badge.
Beating a woman isn’t courage. It’s cowardice, indiscipline, and criminal assault disguised as authority. That officer doesn’t represent the police he represents rot, arrogance, and moral decay in uniform.
We won’t stay silent. We’ll make sure he’s exposed, prosecuted, and stripped of the very uniform he’s bringing to shame.
