We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Francis Jackson at the age of 104.
Dr Jackson was appointed a Fellow of the RSCM in 1946 and was therefore the longest serving Fellow of the Royal School of Church Music. We give thanks for his huge contribution to Church Music.

Setsuko Thurlow, then 13, was one of the city's survivors. In 2017 she jointly accepted the #NobelPeacePrize in Oslo on behalf of @nuclearban.
