@shavorn1718 I agree. It is deeply concerning that there are older people who don't have family or good neighbours to help out and advocate on their behalf? The welfare state, the promises made to older people that they would be cared for from cradle to grave subject to ongoing betrayal

#MartinLewis well said, " The UK government know the number of older people in desperate need of winter fuel allowance but did not put in any mitigating circumstances. Please encourage any older people you know on a low income to apply for pension credit. "
