أرحب، بصفتي مواطناً مصرياً، بزيارة الأمير محمد بن سلمان ولي عهد المملكة العربية السعودية ورئيس وزرائها إلى مصر، وأتطلع إلى نتائج مباحثاته مع الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي.

إن التقارب والتنسيق المصري السعودي لم يعد مجرد خيار، بل حتمية تفرضها خطورة الأوضاع في المنطقة. فالاعتداءات المتكررة على المملكة ودول الخليج والأردن من ناحية، والاعتداءات على لبنان وسوريا والضفة وغزة والقدس، وكذلك التهديدات المتصاعدة لأمن البحر الأحمر وللملاحة في مياه المنطقة، تستوجب موقفاً عربياً واضحاً وفاعلاً.

مصر والسعودية ركيزتان أساسيتان في النظام العربي، وتقاربهما وتنسيقهما الوثيق ضرورة لإطلاق حركة سياسية عربية شاملة تحفظ الأمن والمصالح العربية وتعيد للعرب دورهم في تقرير مستقبل منطقتهم.

لم يعد الصمت خياراً مقبولاً!
