Call me skeptical. Here’s why:

Trump said he’d end the conflict and bring the hostages home on day one.

Since taking office, I haven’t seen him do much of anything — publicly or privately — to pressure either side. Not enough to stop the killing, anyway.

And now, when there are no more people for Israel to kill, no more buildings to level, when Bibi faces prison... and when Hamas has destroyed its own people, has no more female prisoners left to rape, and faces total erasure... suddenly both sides decide it’s time to stop.

Then Trump slips in and takes the credit.

Did he deserve it?

Well, when he bragged yesterday that Bibi “called him all the time for weapons — some he’d never even heard of — and he supplied them every time,” ask yourself: does that sound like someone pushing for peace?

About 70,000 people died in this conflict — a high percentage of them innocent men, women, and children.

There are no heroes at the end of this war.

And Trump sure as hell isn’t one.
