@cocobunni1 Rewatching this years later and I'm getting flashbacks of how angry this made me when it first aired

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@JenDontJudge @brbiepercs Punctuated with a "baby" at the end

@amandaseales You're valued and loved in spite of the hatred. I hope it never gets to be too much @amandaseales and when and if it does, know that it's okay for you to peace out for a minute if you need. ❤️

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@amandaseales Hmm, interesting that the "fearing for one's life" rationale that usually results in an unarmed black person being shot in the back yields this kind of hesitancy this time... I guess it's tough to see the situation for what it is when you have such an active imagination 🙄

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@amandaseales This is an awfully familiar refrain that screams of absolution masked by superficial and subpar pacifying gestures. The desire to volunteer this sort of of vague remuneration also signifies that it's no skin off their backs.. Whatever these "reparations" end up looking like.

@Time4Change29 @davidalangrier 😂 This is upsetting me and my homegirl. Nah, but for real this conjures the trauma of receiving meals at the weddings I used to work at 😬

@yaboymal79 @amandaseales This and peppermint (referred to simply mint) tea for us Jamaican/Carribean folks

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@Grambling08 @amandaseales A must!

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@CommissionShow @is_horton @amandaseales Speak! Ya, he's probably working with a micropenis but he's antagonistic and indignant - which is true to type - for that I employ the block feature lol

@MissyElliott @Martha_Wash Loleatta Holloway also had to sue Black Box over the use of vocals from "Love Sensation" for their track "Ride on Time" and in typical colonizer style added insult when they said they assumed she was dead 🙄

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@_Thunderclaw Say it D! This is especially true when they're not dealing with obsequious, docile and intellectually derelict black folk. Then we're arrogant or uppity. G'on! Keep moving with that chest up bruh

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

@rolandsmartin @BlkStarNetwork Urgh! It's too much! Reggie Lucas is gone now James Mtume has left us too ☹️

[Dakarai @DakaraiMusic]

Wow! 120k streams now and back in the charts at the number 12 spot in the U.K.!!! I'm glad everyone is feeling this one! #nudisco #disco #summervibes #songwriter #spotify #topofthepops https://t.co/6yQs9oEX05
