@NYTGames GUI suggestion. I love playing Pips with my 9yo everyday. Every day he grabs a domino from the bottom, drags it up, and inadvertently initiates the app switch feature of the iPhone. Please put the dominos dock at the at the top of the interface.
@JoshuaBarzon Why would a church want a Jerusalem cross (option 2) as a logo? It represent a period of church history where the church violently slaughtered untold numbers of people in the name of Christ. And it’s now a symbol of Christian nationalism. Shouldn’t even be an option.
@CJNitkowski what’s the uniform process for such a quick call up like Ritchie’s? Jersey with name and number? Equipment? Being on the road has to make the logistics of all that more complicated.
@Bombasotta@aigkenham Smh read John Walton. My youth pastors taught me contextualization at my IFB church and it got them fired. Fundies aren’t interested in context.
@DennyBurk If an ID is required to vote, IDs should be free to acquire. States charge a fee to acquire an ID at the DMV. Thus, you have to pay a fee to vote.
Voting is a right. You shouldn’t have to pay a fee for the right to vote.
@JoshuaBarzon I would suggest Man’s Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl. It addresses anxiety, responsibility, purpose, and suffering without sounding religious.
@JoshuaBarzon The Bible is not the best answer.
The Bible requires literary awareness, imagination, communal interpretation and formation … not just exposure. People weaponize it and miss the point, that is, Jesus. I don’t reject the Bible … people have to be prepared to read it well.
