From spending his paper round money following The Blue Brazil, to washing kits and helping the club behind the scenes for the last five seasons, Dale Smart is one of the unsung heroes who help keep Cowdenbeath FC going.
A brilliant story about friendship, football, communityโฆ and flying chips at Queen of the South ๐

As another football season draws to its close, we sadly learned today of the passing of a fellow fan of many seasons โ Colin Harrower at the age of 68.
Colin was a Cowden stalwart for well over 30 years and was one of the founder members of the Junction Bar Cowdenbeath Supporters Club. He travelled many a mile to support the Blue Brazil and shared in so many of the highs and lows experienced by the club in that era. There were indeed some unforgettable great days and celebrations that Colin truly enjoyed. He was a familiar face to all Cowden fans โ on the supporters bus, in the pub, and on the terracing at Central Park. He of course also worked for so many years down at Rosyth Dockyard โ where he was the gaffer of Cowden legend Raymie Allan.
He will be truly missed by everyone at Cowdenbeath FC and by his fellow supporters. Our condolences go out to Liz, Craig and Grant at this very sad time.
