That's not true and your shoddy reporting on it is misleading. The commonweal article made the claim Word on Fire was a political organization which implied an attack on their 501c3 status. That is what the legal threat was about. Had nothing to do with whether Bishop's opinions were aligned with one party or another. Any organization should be ready to defend themselves against slander and lies from corrupt media organizations.
