Trump wants to win the Noble Peace Prize. His moves on Ukraine are guided by this goal. He proposed negotiations without Ukrainian participation because Zelenskyy needed to be sidelined so he could be the star peacemaker. He got angry in the WH because Z was resisting his dream.
