"The judge has torn me away from my family and beloved friends; I don’t deserve this" — A pretrial hearing for 21-year-old Mate Devidze was held at the Tbilisi City Court, where the court remanded him in custody. Devidze is among 16 individuals arrested under administrative procedures during the protests in Tbilisi in November 2024. Along with others, he was initially charged with disobedience to police and petty hooliganism. However, after completing a 48-hour administrative detention period, when he was supposed to be released from the detention facility, his charges were reclassified, and a criminal case was initiated. Georgian Dream regime accuse the 21-year-old of causing physical injuries to three police officers. He faces a potential prison sentence of 4 to 7 years.

European countries can be also motivated to act about the situation in Georgia beyond democratic values. Under Georgian Dream, politically motivated migration will add up to the existing economic migration. The obvious soon to appear deterioration of the economy will trigger broader economic migration. Ironically Georgian Dream is supported by far-right parties in Europe that supposedly care about migration above anything else.

Happening in Batumi:
Police arrested a female activist Tsiala Katamadze for trying to stick a protest sticker. Then, protester Vazha Todua was arrested for asking the police why they had arrested Tsiala. Moments later, another protester, Mate Tsenteradze, was arrested - yes, you guessed it - for asking why Vazha had been arrested. #GeorgiaProtests #terrorinGeorgia
