I think this is almost perfectly symbolic of the about-face Donald Trump has made on populism. We were all led to believe that Trump was some Jacksonian populist in 2016, but 10 years later, instead of ending the central bank like Andrew Jackson did, he wants his face on a new $250 bill and hopes to keep interest rates artificially low to keep housing prices high. Our “populist” president is now saying, “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. Not even a little.”

My biggest delusion is that if I had all the money I needed, I could get a pro level golf coach and spend 12 hours a day practicing and I could become a pro golfer in like 2 years. I hit just enough perfect balls at the range that I’m led to believe it’s theoretically in reach. I know it’s not.

Self-purging context? A separate agent looks at the context of the current session before sending the new message off to the larger model and says 'is all of this needed?', purges what's out of scope but was required at the time (grep results that didn't fit the task, lists of files in the directory, code in a read file that wasn't important, etc.), and then passes that to the main model for the real generation. This could be great for keeping context small to increase validity of answers, not quite as good at decreasing cost. I'm sure this would make long running prompts a little better too. Purge the unused context before compacting. May make sure you focus on the right stuff. But I don't know. I'm just an idiot with a keyboard.
