The Wilsons—Hiram, James, Wallace, George, & Andrew—were brought to Texas in 1856 with their enslaver. After emancipation, they began their own business in 1869 in Seguin: H. Wilson & Co.
The Dallas County Historical Commission is accepting state historical marker applications from February 15, 2022, to April 1, 2022.
Applications will not be accepted after April 1st.
