Yesterday I was complaining about the road & alley conditions in Dallas. I was explaining to a friend that the city doesn't allocate enough general funds annually to maintain our infrastructure, often relying on bond debt, and we're still not where we need to be. I showed my friend the pavement condition map (which is a great tool and visualization of the data). Here is a link to the map so you can take a look. Everything red is FAILED, yellow is about to fail. If it is a dashed line, it's an alley, solid lines are streets. Meanwhile, some councilmembers want to push programs like e-bike rebate programs.
