I never imagined a world where physicians speaking up against the senseless murder of children, the killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians would be accused of unprofessionalism. Yet, this is the reality that many face today — one that we cannot accept. We must continue to resist injustice in all its forms.

Israeli forces frequently deliberately prevented injured Palestinian children from receiving medical care. In 43 percent of cases in our report, Israeli forces detained and fired live ammunition toward ambulances, paramedics, and civilians attempting to provide aid.
Canada fired the special envoy for Islamophobia and replaced her with a guy who was the chair of the Canada-Israel committee.
The only act of murderous religious violence inside a house of worship was against a mosque. This is grotesque.
You all know this already went through the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and was not found to be antisemitic or violent.
Stop trying to criminalize solidarity with Palestinians and curtail our charter rights to serve genocide.
Thanks @UofT for this court ruling.
Don’t give in to this @SeanFraserMP.
Why is there a “Walk with Israel” being held in Toronto? Israel is committing genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. The international court of justice has ruled that Canada as a third party state has obligations to not be complicit in aiding Israel in these crimes.
From the EU to Australia, governments and institutions take more action against bake sales for Palestine than against Israel bombing families, blocking baby formula, massacring >1,800 health workers, and their kidnapping and torture of >9,000 🇵🇸 hostages including 14 doctors.
🎓 “Peace be upon you. From the students of Harvard, to the youth of Dahieh, to the sons of Nabatieh, and the people of Tyre.”
Harvard Medical School graduate Leen Ezzeddine, from the southern Lebanese town of Arabsalim, used her graduation speech to remind her peers of the students in Gaza and southern Lebanon who do not benefit from the same “arbitrary luck and circumstance” that she and her classmates have enjoyed.
Ezzeddine said her presence at that podium was “evidence of what survives the border, the bomb, and the exile,” and of “what becomes possible when people the world has tried to erase are allowed to live.”
Don’t let war profiteers like @MarkJCarney fool you.
Another world is possible.
We say no to massacring health workers, destroying communities, stealing land, genocide.
Let’s work for a world that values health, life, rights, the environment, communities.

TLDR: A U.S. investment bank behind a massive lobbying push to expand the island airport appears to be violating Canadian lobbying rules. https://t.co/gOexIUSwbx
I spent some time looking at the company behind a massive lobbying push to have Toronto's island airport expanded. What I found was a deep tangle of corporate and PR webs that all obscured a relatively simple truth.

Local Ottawa CBC news coverage on yesterday’s community protest against the CANSEC conference where Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney gave speeches and endorsed this industry of mass death and violence.
Many media outlets that have been critical of government spending on war technologies were denied access to covering the CANSEC conference. Public taxpayer dollars should not be spent on an industry of war, terror, and genocide. While journalists who try to report the truth and hold government accountable are denied access to do so.
BREAKING: Canada exported $14.6 million of military goods to Israel in 2025, according to data released today by Global Affairs Canada.

This morning in Ottawa, I joined my steadfast healthcare worker colleagues in protesting the annual CANSEC conference where Premier Doug Ford and Prime Minister Mark Carney gave speeches and endorsed the buying and selling of weapons of mass destruction and violence.
Some of the companies present at CANSEC are directly involved in the mass slaughter of civilian life in Palestine at the hands of the Israeli military, amounting to the crime of genocide against Palestinians. As people in Canada, we are directly implicated in this industry of mass death through our taxpayer dollars being spent on CANSEC and the billions of dollars being thrown at these companies because genocide is profitable. Also, you can see how so much public money goes down the drain for using the provincial and local Ottawa police to defend the war criminals and war mongers while trying to intimidate community members of conscience who protest against war, terror, and genocide.
The politicians will tell us they don’t have enough money for healthcare, pharmacare, dental care, mental health, affordable housing, education, childcare, and so many other services for people and their wellbeing… but they will go and pour billions of taxpayer dollars into this industry that fuels war, terror, and genocide all over the world.
See things for truly what they are. What a disgusting and shameful reality this is. We can and must do better as a society. A different world is possible. We protest and demand humanity, dignity, and life for all people and the wellbeing of the planet. We demand a different world.
Sorry Canada, you won’t be getting pharmacare because all of our tax dollars are going to this sort of thing instead of being invested in our communities.
Right now representatives of the Israel, the UAE, and other states and companies directly involved in genocide are being protected at #CANSEC weapons fair.

“They have a container that acts like the beating room, and when you pass through it, you just get beaten,” he said. “Some people got their ribs broken; I suspected a collapsed lung.”
“I would go back again if needed,” he said. “I feel relieved to be back with my family, and privileged that I didn’t get to go through so much pain and horror that Palestinians had to go through every day of their lives.”
“I feel privileged that I get to see my family and my family gets to see me alive, which most Palestinian children do not get to see.”
Wow.
@OntariosDoctors@kmoranONT@SharonBalMD don’t even have the decency to reply to Dr. Gandhi who previously served as OMA president, but they have the time and resources to police a 🍉 pin.
I wrote to them too and haven’t heard anything back yet.
Differential application of this “policy” is legally discriminatory and they know that.
These are the pins I wear. Which ones are getting me kicked out of meetings, @OntariosDoctors?
