Joe Rogan: "I had Mary Talley Bowden on the podcast … She was saying that if she vaccinated … all of her patients for COVID, she'd have made $1.5 Million. That's motivation."
@JeffClarkUS Probably, but Congress does not appear to have the discipline to do the job properly, either. In fact, I think Congress would further game and politicize monetary policy.
Interesting when one remembers that the responsibilities, authority, and limitations of the federal government enshrined in the Constitution was written and ratified by a convention of the States. The States, representing “We the People” established the federal government.
So now, a State is holding up the Constitution to the federal government with a reminder of duty, and an assertion of State rights.
I believe the SCOTUS ruling affirms the federal government’s role and responsibilities, but the ruling does not set aside a State’s rights and authority. It is possible for both entities to be in conflict while exercising their Constitutional duties and prerogatives.
@UrUnpaidPundit A great funky location, fabulous food, even better deli.
One of the few places that has had a horse standing at the bar. They have a picture to prove it. They used to keep it behind the health certificate.
@MAGAgpsmith @GOP Did that in December when Mitch and the Senate rolled over and aided the Democrats by pumping more trillions of federal spending into an overheated economy.
No celebrating in my household, just complete disgust.
After the Senate’s 2022 vote to pump more funds into the economy I changed from a life long Republican to an Independent.
The Republican Party has completely lost any sense of how to represent the voters.
If you reduce government spending by a trillion more than tax revenues the US would not threaten the debt ceiling and we would pay down the national debt.
You and the Democrats are the enemy of “we the people.”
@ByronYork Under the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, an ‘individual’ means a citizen of the United States or an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence. This is just one example that the term ‘alien’ is not pejorative, but has a given status that can change the effect of law.
