I'm never deleting this app.
Btw. for the curious minds, translation of text from two pictures:
First Image (top screenshot with the blue profile picture)Original visible text (left side, main angry reply):
「ナショナリズムって癌だよね
自民党が左翼?????
ってか日本が乗っ取られてたって何?
日本を乗っ取られてたって言うなら、乗っ取られてたのは自民党政権下の日本だよね
それとも日本を乗っ取られてたって言うのは、右翼の妄想?
English translation:
"Nationalism is basically cancer, right?
The LDP (Liberal Democratic Party) is left-wing?????
What do you even mean by 'Japan was taken over'?
If you're saying Japan was taken over, then the one that was taken over was Japan under LDP rule, right?
Or is this 'Japan was taken over' thing just right-wing delusion?"Additional small text at the bottom right:
「極左が発狂してる笑笑」
→ "The far-left is having a total meltdown lol lol"
Second Image (bottom screenshot with the pink/purple profile picture)Original visible text:
「ほんとこれ
旧Twitter時代は左翼メディアばっかり押し出されててウザかったわ。Xになってマシになった!
English translation:
"Seriously, this.
In the old Twitter days, only left-wing media was being pushed everywhere and it was so annoying.
It's gotten so much better since it became X!"

So yeah… when Elon says “Optimus will become a Von Neumann probe”, he’s not memeing.
Oh, no.
He’s talking about the single highest-leverage thing any species can ever do.
And we might still be early enough to win the cosmic space/land grab. Are we going to do it, or will we argue about politics for another 300 years while the window closes?

Bottom line:
We are basically sitting on the last empty continent of the galaxy.
If we move in the next 1–2 centuries, we can become one of the biggest civilizations that ever existed.
If we wait too long, someone else gets here first... it’s game over... forever.
That's why Elon and others think far into the future.
It is not only about 50k post, it's about what is inside. Congratulations on doing exactly what people want to read.
And of course good posts become excellent when you interact with us in a way you do. Casually. Friendly.
People stop and engage, even without following you. So my line will be even more interesting. Follow.
Keep growing Mark.
Moonbase Alpha FTW.
Reduced gravity will enable development of new materials. And it will also benefit the construction of larger factories and machines.
Undersurface infrastructure will be easy to lay in tunnels carved by Boring Co. TBMs.
Solar panels will be irradiated more without the atmosphere reducing efficiency.
The lower gravity will enable sending materials and objects to Earth's orbit, more efficiently than from Earth itself. Then to Mars, then...
What else @grok ?
The most amazing thing here: we are discussing concepts out of this world and participating idea sharing among many people. It would be unimaginable to just try to approach an "expert" in this field to ask for a basic feasibility calculation, without being ignored/ridiculed, just a decade ago. The AI tools of today are soooo good in prototyping the idea. What a time to be alive.
I can't retrieve your remark, just want to let you know I thought of how to give Grok as short prompt as possible. Of course you are absolutely right about different characteristics of Mars as a system. Still worth giving this idea to a more powerful model to reason around it. I may give it a try with Super Grok. The Grok model we interacted in conversations/ posts is more general, therefore providing short answers based on existing information, without reasoning on a deeper level. @grok what is your take on this?
@cmarie505@elonmusk@grok@jamesdouma@SemiAnalysis_ Marie, that's so wild idea which might work. @grok, curious how much sattleites and power is needed to generate a magnetosphere around Mars, taking Earth's magnetosphere characteristics for reference?
@Mollehilll @mark_k The "(if real)" may indicate that model is speculating in it's answer, which is fine with things it has no previous training/knowledge about. If you observe Mark's screenshot, one may recognize graphical elements of Grok 4 interface. It is genuine.
