@kthombre@airindia The same happened to all 5 of us.
Air India showed our PNR via Delhi, while MakeMyTrip still showed a direct flight. Same PNR, different routes, causing confusion. All 5 of us booked another expensive flight.
@airindia In Oct 2025, I booked AI2427, the direct Leh (IXL) → Chandigarh (IXC) flight for 27 June 2026. In June 2026, I received an email stating that AI2427 was cancelled and was involuntarily moved to a 25 June Leh → Delhi → Chandigarh itinerary.
This disrupted my Ladakh plans and forced me to book an alternative Indigo ticket via Delhi at an additional cost of ₹16,000.
Today, after reaching Leh Airport, I see AI2427 operating on 27 June at 08:50 with the exact same flight number and timing. See the photos
How can a flight be declared “cancelled” for booked passengers and yet operate exactly as scheduled? Passengers who book early and at lower fares should not be penalised. This raises serious concerns about fairness, transparency, and customer rights.
I request an explanation and reimbursement for the additional expenses incurred due to this disruption. @DGCAIndia #airindia #ConsumerCourt @jagograhakjago #aviation
