Recently, out of the blue I got a call from @DKMS_uk - the charity that helps people with blood cancer. I'd forgotten that 5yrs ago I did a cheek swab... but the call was to say I was a possible match for someone in urgent need of stem cell or bone marrow transplant.
It's a chance to help someone survive who wouldn't otherwise. Unfortunately, having just been through the next stage, I've been ruled out of donating.
So to turn that into a positive, I wanted to suggest if you fancy registering to be a donor, if age 18 - 55 you can do it here... https://t.co/WOEAyPoQqu - and hopefully one of you may be the match that actually saves a life.

As the world burns, it’s some consolation to me that the choir of St George’s Chapel Windsor is pronouncing “Ierusalem” consistent with italianate Latin now. #smallvictories#Lent#convertereaddominum
Etiquette rule: If someone introduces you to someone new and say your name, but not theirs, it’s because they don’t know it, and you must help them in their desperate time of need.
