Firefighters are currently dealing with a large fire in the roof space of a care home in Rolls Avenue, Crewe.
Eight fire engines are at the scene and a full evacuation is taking place.

Final update for this evening. Our crews have returned home after a 7 hour stint performing rescues, salvage operations and incidents involving electrics and flood water. Our appliance has been mobilised to over 20 incidents. Our last one being a person stuck in flood water.
