I'm not sure what the point of @LinkedIn Feed is now... its become a slop victim. 90% of content is ai generated articles and diagrams. Maybe 1% is actually useful slop.
Trying to write custom instructions so @Copilot sounds even close to chatgpt or Claude quality of response is super challenging. Its training is to write 4 page essays and sound like a hyperactive beagal in a Microsoft suit.
@benjitaylor if you combine Grok Agent canvas with Miro's capabilities, e.g. smart objects Grok can create and collab with users... you basically get a minority report interface. That's a killer app.
The conversation about #ai needs to move from talking about the limitations of the model to the limitations of the human. The role of ux will become the job of bridging the gap between with the ai and the cognitive, communicative, and emotional capabilities of the average person
UX Design is the only tech job where you can be asked to do your job poorly, lower quality, not follow best practice or process... so the rest of the team can deliver faster.
@Rengle820 100% this. VR / MR is competing with reality for immersion experience.
It has 'wow' but not 'useful'.
Ergonomically: it's still an arkward, ugly, conspicuous, hot, sweaty, heavy facehugger.
@alexmuench@Google Agree have made this mistake. Maybe the hand could have an up arrow?
Also... What about group the icons and putting them in an order that makes sense.
TBF... Teams is much worse.
@elonmusk@elonmusk please avoid creating an automatic echo-chamber where people assume everyone agrees with them... and ideas they don't like are hidden.
Bad ideas thrive in the shadows and die in the light. A 'town-square' needs healthy discourse.
@LukeW A bicycle from Walmart looks similar to a higher end bicycle. Design Quality is a variable... Uncomfortable truth: not everything benefits from more design effort. ๐
@andybudd Content is king, and content strategy and IA are inseparable. Designers have to make content.
So you make a layout with 3 cards... "What content do they have?" "No idea that's your problem, I just make boxes".
@MarkHamill@JoeBiden@POTUS "Good... Let the hate flow through you."
Joe's past is not his future. Why are you fighting for it to be him vs a younger democrat? Its starting to look like elder abuse.
@andybudd Delivery prioritizes tangible speed of execution. Design prioritizes quality of execution. The intangible impact on users over time. So, treating design as a factory line tends to disappoint both the organization and the designers.
