@ReactionaryLuma They need to just scrap Halo Studios imo, get some ID and Activision developers together and let them make Halo. Fucking hell, how come those guys have proprietary engines that work well and Halo is stuck using contract workers with surface level knowledge of UE5
Finally watched Backrooms, I thought it was good. The more I think about it the more I like it. Wish the second and third act flowed better and weren't so short tho, climax felt too easy for the characters.
My critique of Halo Campaign Evolved is still the same, it just looks like an Unreal Engine asset flip. It looks like they didn't fiddle with the lighting engine, the tonemapping, and the assets aren't blending well cause of it. Compare this to E-Day and it's a massive difference
