I am Canadian. My Grandmother told me stories of Americans purchasing Canada Flag pins and Patches before they went to Europe. That was 45 years ago. When I was posted in Germany 30 years ago, my civilian car plate was the same size as in Canada and said Canada right on it. The US plates were made to look like German plates. They know they are disliked and they try to hide it.
@chellebe@ryangerritsen Racist Quebec has held two official provincial referendums on separation from Canada: one in 1980 and a second in 1995. Both attempts failed, with voters choosing to remain in Canada.

@BlackLiberalDMV@kyschad1 Wow that is not the flex you think it is. In Rwanda 1994 in approx 100 days, 800,000 Tutsi were killed by the Hutu. That is 8,000 a day. All sides Black and from the same country.
Venezuelan crude can’t simply gush out of a hole in the ground. It’s considered extra-heavy, meaning it takes more work to make the sludgy, sticky oil thin enough to flow through a pipeline. It also requires extra processing and specialized equipment to refine into products like gasoline and diesel. Canadian oil sands crude faces many of the same challenges, a reason it sells at a discount to light oil like that produced in Texas. But Venezuela’s industry has been hampered by budget constraints, crumbling infrastructure and lack of qualified workers who know how to work with the tarry oil. As of November 2025, Venezuela reported production of 1.14 million barrels a day, according to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. The Canada Energy Regulator says this country’s production far eclipses that, hitting a record of 5.13 million barrels a day in the first six months of 2025
@CanaduhOh I hear that the Americans built a lot of bases in the wrong locations around the Persian Gulf and had to give them all up for some weird reason. Question: Has Trump won the 5 day war against Iran yet? Seems to be taking a while.
@_freyWill_@James9201379391@MarkReid42 Canada will get a pipeline to BC long before the US gets a pipeline through Columbia, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico. These are Country's that truly despise the USA.
@factchitanda@americannative_ Do you mean how we won, and you lost. And you can not stop whining about it. Better equipped and trained, took what we wanted. Just like every other Race on the planet.
