Kurapika in the 1999 version was something else. 😭🔥 The aura, the darkness, the emotions… 1999 Kurapika hit different. 🩸

This entire series looks like it was made for the big screen and it's 50 episodes long, that's insane

I'm now working with Hori Akiko and Mori Naoko on the English language edition of their BLの教科書 (BL Textbook), to be published in 2028. Along with making important Japanese language essays on #BL available in English, we will expand the content considerably with new essays!

[Hunter x Hunter @HxH_Content]

The main cast of the 1999 anime didn’t just voice their characters, they played them on stage too.

Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio and Hisoka’s original voice actors all physically portrayed their characters in the 2000 Hunter x Hunter musical.

I came across this archived OoCities blog from 2003, dedicated to Kurapika. Seeing someone pour so much love into him in such an old corner of the internet and finding it so many years later stirs a strange sense of nostalgia in me.
I hope the author is doing well.
