@ngreenberg Indiana in 1987 and Michigan in 1989 — two other national champs who didn’t make it to the semifinals of their tournaments because the Big Ten didn’t have one.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation in the House Chamber today was by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States.
Many of us who love Israel spent time today listening to Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings.
These families are asking for a ceasefire deal that will bring the hostages home – and we hope the Prime Minister would spend his time achieving that goal.
I hope that Kamala Harris listens to the young people and the base and pick Governor @AndyBeshearKY to be Vice President. It should be between Beshear and Cooper.
Kamala is a strong candidate on a purely symbolic basis (i.e. the main way people vote): black Calif prosecutor v racist NY criminal, young v old, future v past, hot stylish woman versus creepy sexual predator who gets angry/disoriented when faced by hot stylish women...
@JasonOverstreet Very sad how Trumpian his actions are. It’s a bad way to go out. I wish those closest to him would drill into his head that this has nothing to do with what he’s accomplished over the last four years. No one is trying to take that away.
@JoeBiden Sorry Joe, that was not a primary. And I’m not a pundit. Also: No one is trying to deny you the success of the last four years. Step aside and preserve your legacy.
Biden once upon a time: There is nothing more important than defeating Donald Trump. Also, being president is a hard job. And "I view myself as a bridge, nothing else."
Biden now: Hey, I defeated Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson in the Democratic primaries. I'm good.
