@FlickMythRob@WalterWalt10252 The Guy Ritchie movie with Gyllenhaal was actually quite good as far as war inspo movies go. Fake movies star Aaron Eckhart and Frank Grillo.
@IllnessuMental@garethdmm@___frye Water bottle under the car seat is an urban myth. No one does that.
This is indeed an extremely poor explanation. And the eruv system is not an example of "ignoring a law."
You could literally just Google this and understand it in 1 minute flat instead of being an idiot.
@TJStats Thomas, if this surge happened before your last prospect re-rank, would/how much would it have affected your rankings? Always interested to know how to approach a hot streak.
@Chazraps@rwdslktr It also was not really satirical, which is why it (kind of) worked. Yung Lean also not satirical although many critics mistakenly assumed he was
@empathyhawk@gbrl_dick It's so strange to be reading a normal conversation and have the term "goycattle" be casually used, and then unremarked upon. Really weird Stormfront slang to be tossing around.
@lfitzmaurice I do a lot of mass culture defending, "it's not that bad," "you have to understand," etc. This is abhorrently bad. It is so insanely bad that this person's image is getting this kind of rehab.
@lfitzmaurice I do think there is less naked inhumanity onscreen now; the shows are produced and edited differently. Meanwhile the comment section public (especially Reddit) is more evil than ever, routinely drives reality tv figures to self-harm and death. Much 2 consider

@morbiusx@mrswamsbsgans That is the key, there is a real sense of responsibility to all of the storytelling. When you rewatch you notice little details throughout the first season that crop up later.
Also relevant is that they do massive time jumps between episodes. makes it easier to reboot story.
@columnatedrunes Boygenius is extremely boring, plenty of Bridgers fans (myself included) aren't into them. Whatever her faults as a songwriter, I don't see much of her singular songwriting in the group records (with the exception of a few, like Emily I'm Sorry, that sound like her solo tracks).
@DPD_ The cyclops thing was enough spectacle and thrill to sustain a movie on its own. Throw in the Trojan horse sequence and I was sold, even if it came alongside the least good Zendaya in years and ~35 minutes of limp Holland
