To be Iranian means a pain that for years you must keep in your chest, and no one is likely to understand it.
To be Iranian is to look at the empty chair of a loved one instead of the mirror at the moment of the New Year, and to smile, so the enemy never knows that with our branding, they have killed the Spring.
To be Iranian is to learn a language where “Freedom” tastes of solitary confinement and “Justice” is a pseudonym for the hangman’s noose.
To be Iranian is to hear the sound of water in your sleep, leagues away from the Zayanderud and Karun rivers; it is to still hold the pulse of history in your hand, even with a severed vein.
To be Iranian is a Heaven promised by the lash, yet it smells of the Hell you experience every day in the streets.
To be Iranian is to see a rosary used to count the bruises on a body instead of prayers; it is a God whose name you only hear in solitary confinement, used to force a confession.
To be Iranian is to be a father whose shoulders were a mountain, but who now bends under the weight of a single picture frame.
To be Iranian is to be a mother who sings her lullaby beside a grave; it is a woman who embraces a cold stone in place of her child’s warm body.
To be Iranian is to stand against the storm while the whole world tells you "Bend"; and you, with a broken stature, still remain rooted in the earth.
To be Iranian is when you speak of "Home," you don't mean four walls; you mean a soil that smells of both blood and rosewater.
To be Iranian is to watch Spring from behind bars; it is for every blossom to be a reminder of a face that is no longer among us.
But more important than all these pains, more important than all these leagues of distance, to be Iranian means an unshakeable faith; It means an absolute belief in the eternal victory of Light over Darkness.
May your Nowruz be blessed, and may your path be filled with radiance.
Long live Iran.

Apparently Iranians cannot understand why the slaughter of 30,000+ went unnoticed in the West.
But we do.
Iransplained by western “influencers” and so called journalists & news outlets downplaying a human catastrophe for political reasons - we know who you are - will go down as one of the most disgraceful episodes in history.
So for all those who aggressively questioned me and other Iranians speaking out - calling us liars and the massacre “Mossad propaganda” - here is your evidence:
Lorry loads of dead bodies after the brutal murders by the regime in January. This videos is of one place at one time but the scenes of slaughter, hospitals and makeshift morgues were replicated all across the country as seen in the new documentary “This Is Our Story” on YouTube now.
As of now 11,500 bodies are still missing (as mentioned at the end of the ITV doc film “Inside Iran”) with many feared held in cold storage by the regime, or disposed of in unspeakably inhumane ways.
When the people rise up again imminently, the only relevant question for everyone is this: will you support the people trying to rid themselves of this evil regime? Or will you stand with tyrannical murderers?
It is that binary of a question now.

The Duolingo English Test will no longer be available in Iran or to users presenting Iranian identification from September 1, following the US Treasury’s suspension of Iran General License G.
Duolingo’s official help center says the test is unavailable in Iran and for users with Iranian IDs.
The restriction follows the US Treasury’s suspension of Iran General License G, which had authorized certain academic exchanges and educational services, including the administration of some examinations for Iranian students.

Iran’s hardline Kayhan daily on Thursday called on diplomatic officials to announce an end to negotiations with Washington, saying missiles would now decide the outcome of the confrontation.
The newspaper, whose editor-in-chief is appointed by the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, said US President Donald Trump would be forced to “beg” because oil prices would rise.
