Corruption remains a significant barrier to inclusive development and gender equality in Zimbabwe, particularly in the areas of health, education, and social welfare. Women and girls continue to bear the brunt, facing bribery, sextortion, and discrimination when trying to access public services.

Through the Inclusive Service Delivery in Africa (ISDA) Project, Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) is holding a Social Accountability Monitoring and Feedback Workshop in Mutare to strengthen citizen capacity particularly among women and girls, to identify, report, and challenge corruption in essential service delivery.

The workshop creates space for dialogue between community members and public officials, fostering mutual accountability and promoting gender-sensitive governance.

Key outcomes:
Stronger collaboration between citizens and public institutions

Integration of gender-responsive anti-corruption strategies

Empowered women and girls as accountability champions

Improved access to transparent and equitable public services
