A DEA administrative judge has paused the federal rescheduling of marijuana because of delay tactics from opponents who want cannabis to be seen on the same level as heroin.

There's decades of scientific research and state-level medical data that clearly support moving marijuana out of Schedule I. The longer this takes, the worse it is for Americans.

As long as cannabis is listed under Schedule I next to heroin, federal law can treat simple possession and distribution as high-tier felonies.

In states that haven't legalized pot, low-income communities face thousands of arrests, criminal records, and jail time for something that could be legal under a rescheduled federal framework.

Our federal government moves lickety-split when it comes to concentration camps, human trafficking, gestapos, Flock cameras, data centers, Middle East wars, Epstein cover-ups, sucking up to Netanyahu, etc.... But when it comes to actually doing anything positive, there's always some technical, bureacratic obstacle to pull the brakes on it.

Well, for all my voters struggling to decide who to vote for as LA Mayor, Karen Basura just made the choice really easy. 3 months later, she's still campaigning against me, instead of her incompetent DSA opponent.
