Martyna Ogonowska, a UK rape survivor who, at 18, stabbed a man to death in self-defense as he sexually assaulted her, has just lost an appeal of her 17 year prison sentence.
This, lest we forget, is the same court system which failed to prosecute the adult man who raped Ogonowska when she was 14 because a judge decided that she’d consented, and which also recently handed out a suspended sentence to a man who raped a 13 year old because he told the judge that he “didn’t know it was illegal,” and because had been taught in his UK madrassah that British women and girls “have no more value than a piece of candy that has been dropped on the ground.
It seems that the British justice system agrees.

Here is what directors now face under the government’s new One Login digital ID mandate.
This is an actual screenshot from @garfen, a director who tried to verify his identity:
If you fail the automated One Login identity check:
You are locked out. You get no explanation. You get no appeal. You get no human review. You are given no alternative way to prove your identity.
Support cannot help you and cannot override the process.
You are told to contact the service you need but the digital ID barrier remains.
And this is not a rare bug.
This is the official process.
You risk being fined or struck off as a director for failing to comply with a system that gives you no recourse if it gets it wrong.
This is a fundamental breach of data protection and human rights laws:
GDPR Article 12 requires an effective remedy and clear information.
GDPR Article 22 gives you the right to human intervention and an explanation for automated decisions.
The Human Rights Act guarantees a fair process and effective remedy for decisions that affect your rights and livelihood.
Yet the government is forcing everyone to use this broken system with known, unresolved security holes and no route for appeal or redress.
This is reckless.
This is unlawful.
And it is already locking people out of their legal obligations as company directors.
It is time to demand answers from @CompaniesHouse, @GDSTeam, and @ICOnews
Not Safe, Not Secure
#NoToDigitalID
I see ID cards are back. Many years ago, I had the inenvious task of being one of the architects of one part of last attempt in the 2000s - Enrolling the population. I felt physically sick going into work, and left the company soon after. A wise choice considering what transpired years later.
This is what I know. First, enrolling the population. How? Bank records, not everyone has an account, Tax, the same, NI, how about Children? DVLA... Passport data. So, it will need legislation and none of this IT 'talks' to each other either. ££££ in cost.
So, it will rely on self-attestation, this will mean that criminals can apply for a fake ID (and illegal migrants). Flaw 1.
What happens if someone steals your ID? How do you prove that you are you? This is 'non-repudiation'. The data I have covered, so what makes you unique? Fingerprints and DNA. There is a slight problem, that's the domain of law enforcement, criminals and suspects. It is not to prove who you are. So, want a secure system, it will hand over your fingerprint. For what purpose? Flaw 2.
Flaw 1 and 2 now make it an incredible target for Cybercrime. This is the same Civil Service that sent the details of 26m workers and their children's details through the post and lost it. Flaw 3.
Flaw 4, data accuracy, no database is 100% accurate. Even it was the most accurate in the world (99.9999%), the details of tens of thousands would be wrong, back to Flaw 2.
These are the major reasons. There are others.
Most European countries have ID cards, they have not halted fraud, theft, and terrorism. If anything, they provide a false security. Why? The terrorists had ID cards. Bataclan, Charlie Hebdo, Nice...
Last, most European countries have a stricter interpretation of GDPR, their privacy is better guarded.
Can we trust our Government not to misuse it? We get locked up for spicy tweets.
It is a wholly false premise, a lie, deeply dystopian, and fortunately for us, it would take years to complete the work.
It is HERE there is the uncomfortable truth. The current passport system is the old ID Card system from the late 2000s. Guess what? Migrants get a form of ID card from that system already.
Why do the Government need a new ID card? It ain't for stopping boats.
Thanks for reading.
One has to conclude that Labour just really really like k******g people: young, old, sad, disabled. Anyone, anywhere, for no reason at all! Morte! Morte!
They're like the Aztecs with spreadsheets.
“In my most evil moments, I was convinced that I was doing good, and I was well supplied with systematic arguments. And it was only when I lay there rotting on prison straw that I sensed within myself the first stirrings of good.
Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either—but right through every human heart—and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years… and even in the best of all hearts, there remains an un-uprooted small corner of evil.
Since then I have come to understand the truth of all the religions of the world: They struggle with the evil inside a human being (inside every human being). It is impossible to expel evil from the world in its entirety, but it is possible to constrict it within each person.
And since that time, I have come to understand the falsehood of all the revolutions in history. They destroy only those carriers of evil contemporary with them (and also fail, out of haste, to discriminate the carriers of good as well). And they then take to themselves as their heritage the actual evil itself, magnified still more.”

Did you know that during fertilization, when a sperm fertilizes an egg, a burst of light known as the "zinc spark" occurs? This spark signals a healthy fertilization, marking the start of a new life!
AI will one day feel better than any therapist because a perfectly functioning robot who is highly skilled at giving you exactly what you want will always feel better than any fallible person, no matter how skilled that person is. This will fail you utterly.
Fascinating study by the World Bank into solar power potential of different countries, taking into account hours of sunlight, seasonality, land use, cost, etc. Guess which country comes second last, at 249th? Only Ireland is less suitable for solar than UK.
It’s beyond belief that Labour’s anti-corruption minister just had to resign over, wait for it, a corruption scandal. They’ve been in power for what, six months? SIX MONTHS.
You couldn’t make this stuff up.
There is a LOT in common between the lockdown policies and the assisted dying bill.
Let's start with them both centring on the fear of death and both leveraging emotional appeals to justify extreme measures.
But there's much more...🧵

Europe is dying out.
Birthrates are rapidly collapsing. Government incentives aren't working.
By 2100, Europe will have lost 117 million people.
Here's why Europe's population is imploding (and what it means for the world) 🧵:
