Also…Rod Smith calling the Thanksgiving Monday game: Consider it an annual tradition now.
Away from a TV at the moment…so I hope he got to carve another turkey in the commentator booth today. 😁
(Miss working with the man so much)
| via Jonathan Andal/GMA News

It is shameful that @nytimes@TheAthletic buried the fact that the biggest punishment in NBA history was the result of an investigation by journalist @PabloTorre. And to call it the result of a "podcast episode" is a further slap in the face. He won a Pulitzer for this story and they call it an "episode" instead of, at the outset -- crediting him with exposing this scandal. Really really lame.
The Science Centre’s roof has survived heavy winter snow storms and now a violent rain and hail storm. This roof continues to have more integrity than the Ford government.
A team of us are working on ways to reopen this architectural masterpiece to the public again.
Moments ago: Premier Doug Ford at what appeared to be a press conference, with no press invited: “Thank God we don’t have the media, no questions, no answers. We’re good to go.”
Notebooks on Doug Ford's Staples portal: $2.51. Retail price: 79 cents. Exercise books teachers bought in June for $7.49: now $17. This gov't locked 80,000 teachers into one American-owned company. So much for Doug Ford’s tough talk. Cancel the deal. Let teachers buy local.
LOL. What a joke. Hope it backfires on the orange monster. HARD.
A reminder: America, you voted for this mess. It’s not OUR (Canada’s) responsibility to clean this up…it’s yours.
The Toronto Raptors announced today that Kyle Lowry’s No. 7 will be raised to the rafters at Scotiabank Arena in a post-game ceremony on Sunday, January 10, when the Raptors host the Philadelphia 76ers.
Kyle Lowry is a Philadelphia native who played nine years with the Toronto Raptors. He will become just the second player in Raptors franchise history with a retired jersey number alongside Vince Carter, whose No. 15 was retired on November 2, 2024.
NEW: I asked Education Minister Paul Calandra why he poured public money into ads taking aim at teacher unions, instead of focusing on reaching a deal at the bargaining table.
“I will use every means at my disposal to ensure that students, parents and teachers understand what my position is.”
More to come from this exchange:
Tournament director Karl Hale on impact of 🇵🇭Alex Eala on @NBOtoronto:
"Unprecedented ... every match she played it sold out. She was just so engaging with her fans & the community. It was really beautiful to see her so loyal to her fans"
