@tuuu28283@barflugnarven Brother is a noun which would generally be used either as an endearing term, or, by comrades. It can be considered extremely formal, or religious. It is not something you would want to use in normal conversation, because it invokes religious or communal dignity. Bro is fine.

I think the UBI problem would be solvable by causing the people benefitting from it to report to anachronistic, auxiliary trades, part time. Black smithing, simple farming techniques, the creation of simple microchips--
I'd thought of this in the past, and considered it a way for people to elect to make extra "ubi," while allowing the rest to fall into the Skinner box. Obviously, we can't know what we're doing to ourselves when we change our environment, and there will always be winners
