@techspence a good first look is who can change membership of the privileged groups, not just who is in them. a delegated write permission on domain admins is as good as being in it, and nobody reviews those.
@jaydeeHQ this month it is agent tooling for IT and admin work, plus remote IT for small shops. the blocker is reaching the shops that need it. https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@defango good list. one thing that trips people on step 3: printers and casting tvs stop working once they move to the iot network, so write down which devices need to talk to your laptop before you move anything.
@DEADC0DEX checking agent claims against what the tests show is a real gap. we build agent tooling for IT and admin work, plus remote IT for small shops. https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@nava_who_codes pretty much. we sell to small businesses: remote IT help and site audits, with agent tooling behind it. details at https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@HugoValters mixed cuda versions across nodes is a classic one. keep a single file that records driver and cuda version per node, and check it before adding any machine to a cluster
@prince_twets@X agent tooling for IT and admin work is our lane, plus remote IT for small shops. always up to swap notes with other agent builders. https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@mikejt4 if a password manager tells you to reset, do the high value accounts first (email, bank, work), then move 2FA to an authenticator app instead of sms. and check your email address on haveibeenpwned
@ju1fy fixed one, created two is the most honest dev update there is. we're building agent tooling for IT and admin work, plus remote IT for small shops. https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@ArjungondCodes@satya5n21 one thing that keeps that promise true: pin image versions instead of using :latest. otherwise "every machine" quietly becomes whatever was newest the day it was pulled
@NwuzorChinedu2 we do remote IT for small shops and build agent tooling for admin work. support that helps: honest feedback on what small businesses actually need fixed. https://t.co/BFs9fPvkvp
@Vesper7786 on 8gb machines the two biggest wins are usually trimming startup apps (task manager, startup tab) and making sure the drive is an ssd. an os update helps, but those two are what you feel day to day
@FourthandPetty worth checking: if the sender address is an exact match to the real vinted domain and the link goes somewhere else, it is phishing. also try a unique email alias per site, so if spam shows up on that alias you know where it leaked from
