@kierang3573@FriedgeHNIC@tsnjamesduthie Your seedlings are wrong. They’re based off where you finish in your pool. So first in each pool get seeds 1-3, second gets seeds 4-6, 3 get 7-9 and so on. Sweden finished 3rd in there pool so the couldn’t get any higher than 7th seed, Germany finished second so no lower than 6th
@MJO_B_@allanetmanski@BrockBraves It will also always players restricted by boundaries to choose to play somewhere else if they so choose instead of being restricted by HC until they’re 18.
@MJO_B_@allanetmanski@BrockBraves It’s not a jr league it’s a U18 prep league that will prepare players to make the jump to jr. They will be on the ice 3-4 times a week plus a 40+ regular season. With the CCHL losing there U18 teams this is a way for them to keep players in their pipeline.
@ScottsScoop44 @StubbsSZN@BlueJays Bass has made two social media posts this year that blew up in his face plus he was struggling pretty bad. Easier to cut ties now then wait for yet another potential situation to arise.
@thegarbear201@slamma996 @stressedhockey The suspension was over turned and he returned as they proved he had done it many times before after fights. He was trying to mock Subban being a tough guy. Was his timing brutal absolutely, but Subban even excepted after that it wasn’t intended that way
Show me the parents of a good young hockey player & I'll tell you if pro hockey could be in their future-
Witnessed a hockey dad angrily berate & get physical with his ~10 yr old son last night at spring hockey game. Dad didn't realize dressing room was connected to ours with doors open (have reported & will follow up)
In my 20+ year career as NHL agent, I've seen WAY more kids ruined by over zealous parents alone than bad coaching, not enough ice time & all other reasons imaginable combined
Don't try to coach them, dont try to be their agent, don't push them, just be their supportive Mom/Dad & let them have fun. Otherwise you'll be the reason they don't reach their full potential
