EatTheBlocks pivoted from crypto to AI — for reasons that everyone has been feeling. Crypto isn’t getting adopted, it’s full of scams, and the primary usecase is gambling.

Feels like the end of an era. Yeah it’s a bear market, but this one feels different.

For those wondering, no I still think there is a big future in blockchain, but not blockchain in its current form. We’ll still use the core tech components (consensus, ZK, etc), but the way they are used and arranged together will be substantially different.

Another thing he expressed frustration with is that there isn’t anything new to teach in Solidity, which is mostly true. Thankfully ZK is still interesting and evolving.
