🇮🇹 MELONI TO THE WORLD: RESPECT EUROPE’S CULTURE - OR DON’T COME
PM Giorgia Meloni delivered a message that few European leaders dare to say aloud: those who choose to live in a foreign country must respect its laws, its culture, and its traditions.
It's not radical. It's common sense.
Speaking before the Gulf Cooperation Council, Meloni warned of growing threats to European societies, not only from illegal immigration but from radical ideologies that refuse to integrate, challenge national identities, and undermine the very foundations of the West.
Family. Christianity. Sovereignty. These aren’t fringe ideas, they are the foundations of European identity. And for years, they’ve been under siege from two fronts: the rise of Islamist radicalism on one side, and the gender ideology and borderless globalism pushed by the left on the other.
Meloni’s message is clear: integration is not assimilation by the host, it’s adaptation by the newcomer. That’s how a society survives. That’s how peace is built. Not by bending backwards to every cultural demand, but by expecting basic respect for the values that hold our nations together.
She isn’t calling for walls, she’s calling for borders with meaning. For immigration that respects the receiving nation, not erodes it. For a Europe that stops apologizing for existing.
A society that forgets who it is cannot offer stability. Without cultural cohesion, dialogue becomes division.
Meloni proposes cooperation with Arab nations and constructive dialogue, but always anchored in one principle: no identity, no future.
And she’s right. The West can no longer afford leaders who whisper. It needs those who stand up, speak clearly, and say: enough.
