No matter how many times Trump says it, tariffs aren't paid by other countries.
A tariff is basically a sales tax, raising the price of almost everything you buy.
It's also regressive — taking a higher percentage out of the paychecks of working people than out of the wealthy.
To put the Trump-Greenwood Bible in perspective: There are over 25,000 American printing companies who could have been chosen by the Republican Party to print Trump's Bible. The GOP chose a Chinese Communist company over those 25,000 American companies. That's America Last.
Former Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull: “When you see Trump with Putin, as I have on a few occasions, he’s like the 12-year-old boy that goes to high school and meets the captain of the football team. ‘My hero!’ It’s really creepy…the creepiness was palpable”
Trump Bibles are made in Hangzhou, China. They shipped 120,000 of them this year to US. Cost to wholesaler is $3 each. Trump is selling them for $60. Are his new China tariffs going to be slapped on these since they cost American jobs, or will these get one of his famous waivers.
Our Prime Minister has no portfolios and yet never seems to have the time to get ahead of what's happening within his government.
Here's a thread of the many times Christopher Luxon has claimed he's been unaware of his coalition government controversies 🧵
I suspect this creep's concern is that as soon as he can be named there are other stories ready to go, or at least dots to be joined. Tough shit. https://t.co/elgOf0sabY
@NZStuff If WINSTONE was a Major Energy User & they shut (along with OJI & Smithfield), does energy demand and therefore wholesale price now drop? 🤔

Even ‘NZ Herald readers on Facebook’ have had enough. Luxon is going to have to put his big boy panties on.
He’s left it way too late to get any points for finally firing her.
Labour continues to call for Costello to be sacked https://t.co/vzK0GhgRMe
She has to be sacked @chrisluxonmp. You cannot defend this apology for a minister. Listen to this!
