This is our leader. Our captain. The one who speaks out when no one else does. The one who wants the best for the club and wants us to be great. He’s a World Cup winner. He’s the vice captain of the world champions. He’s capable of mistakes and errors in judgement but never question his commitment to the cause.
He’s as fed up as the rest of us with the direction the club is taking. Stop calling him shit. Stop questioning his ability. His performance in Bilbao is the reason we made it over the line. He signed a contract with us when he could easily have pushed for a move. He deserves our support. And he also deserves far more respect for the elite defender that he is. He’s the least of our problems
Thomas Frank Tottenham highlights:
- Bottled Super Cup in first game
- did ‘67’ in an interview
- said “who’s Eze” before he scored a hat-trick in the North London derby
- drank from an Arsenal cup
Six years ago Tottenham were in a UCL final and Aston Villa were playing in the Championship.
The two teams have gone in very different directions since. Shows what difference good vs bad football owners can do to a club!
