@MylesBorins Ah, the ones we got were rated to 1 gb, they might make higher rated ones - this is what we have: Actiontec Bonded MoCA 2.0 Ethernet to Coax Adapter
@raymondcamden If the lib introduces a global obj or fn could you check if it is defined? I did this in React hooks to determine if Google Maps was already loaded.
@xdesro This is so important and not doing it causes so much project churn. When I started pulling design, content, and dev teams into structure outlining sessions, it made things so much easier and less likely to come back with accessibility issues.
@raymondcamden @bdcravens Can second the MX Keys, wish I had bought a year ago. Works well with Logitech mice on the same unified receiver. Quality build. Keys are definitely shallow, but have more travel than a MacBook I think.
@_davideast Modern templating with JSX is here! It really makes an ideal real static site generator - typescript components with no (or hydrated) client-side JS https://t.co/h39zTNXnE4
@alvaro_montoro I would probably do it as a link, just like any in-page link such as a table of contents. Anchor links are pretty straightforward and can target elements with ids. Curious if there are negative effects for screen readers though?
@PearlChen How does this work - how do you usually choose vids/topics? I'd worry about not being engaged (I usually prefer reading over video myself) but maybe this would be a good for my team.
I don't usually like web dev tutorial sites: often too shallow, bad metaphors, and out of date. But @alligatorio has been great. Accurate, succinct, yet comprehensive. A great complement to official docs for learning or remembering how framework features work.
@510home I'm really a fan of @zeithq free hosting for Node.js, Docker, or static sites. Basic paid plan is very reasonable. So easy to get a project online - literally one command. I combine it with CI scripts on Gitlab for a slick but economical dev experience.
In the most extreme example of this, Jeff Bezos currently has enough wealth to buy a $200,000 house for every homeless person in America (not every homeless family, every homeless PERSON, including kids) and still have enough money left to fix Flint's water system 12 times over. https://t.co/DAXGWWV8VM
A telling tweet in a thoughtful thread on the power dynamics of pair programming (and software engineering practices in general). https://t.co/LPaYpclDsV
Now ask yourself, who is it who always feels empowered to contribute? Who sees no need for further structure the mitigate the effects of power dynamics? Who, indeed, is most likely to deny such power dynamics even exist?
