Justice. Storytelling. Patient, optimistic. A human being, not a human doing. CEO of @werepjustice. My views are my own. I forgive so that I can be free.
"Narrative power isn’t just about a single story toppling a system; it’s about a chorus of voices rising together to shift our collective understanding."

Our collective call has been answered! Michelle West has been granted clemency. Kemba Smith has been pardoned. Today we harness and feel the spirit of justice.
Clemency is about more than releasing someone from their sentence—it's about reclaiming lives. President Joe Biden, more lives can be saved with your executive power. It's time to use that power to grant more pardons and address systemic injustice.

We need clemency for survivors like Michelle West, who was criminalized for abuse and gender-based violence. Sentencing reform must protect, not punish, survivors. #FreeMichelleWest

Last week, I joined @ColmanDomingo, the cast of Sing Sing, and @A24 for the DC Premiere.
Speaking with the cast---most of whom are formerly incarcerated playing themselves---and learning more about the film's unique financial structure, was nothing short of inspiring!
The U.S. two-party system, and every beneficiary of it, wants people to believe that election campaigns should take over a year and cost hundreds of millions to produce a good President.
Champions on and off the court. Congrats, @celtics 🏆
