Great move, @waterville! If only the @NSAA_org, @VailResorts, and @alterramtnco recognized the need for safety programs that address reckless, out-of-control skiers and riders. Signage is not an adequate deterrent and patrollers turn a blind eye to dangerous straight-lining.

True Grit is a Waterville favorite, however we’ve noticed an influx of skiers and riders going wayyyy too fast down this trail over the past few years.

With that, we are working with the Waterville Valley Department of Public Safety and installing radar detectors on True Grit. Ski too fast, and the police will be waiting for you at the bottom of Sunnyside to give you a different type of lift. 🚓
