Next day and this doesn’t get any less ridiculous. What is the point in VAR if the officials are so incompetent they miss 2 clear penalties. This is the definition of clear and obvious error.
A great season otherwise ruined by the officials.
KBW is delighted to welcome Andrew Pickin, @DamianBroadbent and Daniel Ingham as tenants, following successful completion of their pupillages. All three have impressed, receiving excellent client feedback. We're proud to have you on board.
The impact of social media commentary on criminal trials is under-reported.
Prejudicial tweets = Curbs on Open Justice.
There's a direct link.
Those people who can't resist tweeting their opinion about a major criminal case cause more problems than they probably know.
🚨🚨 PLEASE I am begging you, DO NOT TWEET ABOUT LIVE CRIMINAL CASES 🚨🚨
Publishing statements suggesting that someone is guilty of a crime before or during a trial is *NOT OKAY*
It could collapse the trial, prevent justice being served, and see you ending up in court.
If Phil Hodgkinson decides Corberan isn’t his man, few would be a better appointment than Wilder. If, and its a big if, he was given everything he asked for, it would be a rebuild everyone could get behind.
Problem is it requires Phil to relax control and open his wallet.
