52yrs Old today
I am not big at celebrating birthdays but they are days of reflections always and just thanking God the creator.
Like I wrote last week, we get one chance to be born, just one chance to be young, one to be old before we die.
Many donโt get a chance to be born( I donโt know what that means), others donโt get a chance to be young, others donโt get a chance to experience old age too.
Days, weeks, months, years are longer when you are young because you have lots of time. At my age, everyday is too short so are the years.
I have been blessed with family, work, friends of all types, some enemies or haters( some of these inspires us to do stuff and without them, we would probably do less)
In my life, some people have told me you canโt do that and this and in my heart, I have quietly told them, I will prove you wrong and itโs has happened. Am thankful for those times too. Imagine I wasnโt told that?
On my birthdays, once in a while reflect on what my mum told not along ago, Son, you were born at the worst stage of my life and wanted to end your life not because I didnโt love you but because I didnโt want to see you suffer.
She adds, if 6 people hadnโt told me that particular week to leave you alone in my dreams, you wouldnโt have lived and now as an adult, I see why God spared you. He knew you better than I did.
My mama also told me I thought you would turn out daft at an earlier stage, your brains opened up around the age of 9. She didnโt understand how hustlers work.
We are born for a purpose and I thank God as an adult, I discovered my purpose in life and I have both enjoyed the walk and sometimes hated the purpose.
In some bad times, I have asked God why me? I have also asked God in some good times, why me? Itโs because I donโt understand everything because am not in charge of everything I do or have done.
With all my weaknesses I have always prayed to God for 3 things, His protection, wisdom and favor before human beings and yes, I have experienced that.
Between the age of 50 and 60 is a stage of take off so I believe and if God gives me an opportunity to experience that, well and good but if His will is different, I will be grateful anyways.
Anyhow, blessed day!

@DenisDukeUG Whereas your point appears to come from a sensible place. Have you considered persuading inlaws to allow you do these functions within your means and have them at whatever cost you can afford. I have attended weddings in kampala for less than 60 people. I believe it's possible
Congratulations Peruth Chemutai on your brilliant performance and on winning a silver medal for Uganda.

Pippen wasn't a scorer. He was a facilitator. Some individuals are great at facilitating the success of the team. When building an efficient team, it is important to recognize the roles that each player is to perform and ensure that they blend and work together as seamlessly as possible.
It can be challenging to see beyond the individual performances of outstanding performers. However, more often than not, those who stand out still have to be supported by capable teammates to keep the overachievers firing on all cylinders. As a team leader, you must be able to assess the Capabilities, Cooperation, Coordination, Communication and Coaching of your team to achieve the common goal which must also be very clear so that the members know how they fit into this.
Are you walking out there today with confidence in your team?
