As you insult people on social media be sure you'll never come out here asking for help. Because one day someone will pull that tweet or comment and you won’t have a way out. Not being petty but you fight fire with fire…☠️☠️💀💀
I don’t want to sound clique but I think Uganda needs domestic flights. Because tell me how I had a busy day yesterday but had to drive to Kasese?
I know I could have chosen to move on another but well, all the week is fully loaded with things.
I’ve on several occasions had clients who wished there were domestic flights as this would ease movements.
Imagine a trip from Kampala to Arua, Gulu, Kasese, or Kidepo can take several hours by road, sometimes on difficult routes. RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE domestic flights would save time, boost tourism, support business growth, and improve connectivity across the country.
A tourist should be able to land at Entebbe and reach Kidepo in under two hours, not spend an entire day on the road. Domestic air travel is not a luxury it is an important part of modern infrastructure that can unlock Uganda’s economic potential.
I know someone would say, a tourist should be able to enjoy our “beautiful” roads, culture and diversity. But that can as well be enjoyed even when flying. All I am trying to say is, give someone an option to choose. Whether to enjoy a road trip or do a chopper instead.
We can have many service providers, have route days, etc etc. I know this is already happening, but it only favors the big dogs. I mean the super wealthy. I’m talking about flights that will favor all of us. I don’t have a problem paying $300 for a to and from flight.
It’s time to make the country more accessible from the sky.
Dear Uncle @mukulaa any thoughts sir?
@JackieAkampwera Kindly reread my quote. I’m saying, he didn’t leave as much options for Ugandans not to speculate. “He threatened to release an audio” a phone call audio? A recording of the vetting process, a casual conversation “ what exactly is it.
Don’t get me wrong.
Now we are defending the way how the audio was recorded?
Well, until he comes and explains more we shall assume these words were said in the committee.
Otherwise, Muganga and Tayebwa don’t share same spaces until recently ofcourse for him to have recorded the audio elsewhere other than during that vetting process.
But even then, this whole thing is marred with character assassination and blame game.
Dr. Muganga didn’t say he recorded the proceedings or any conversations. He meant that even before the proceedings, there was an audio in circulation where Hon. Tayebwa was saying he will fail Dr. Muganga.
It is ofcourse wrong for Dr. Muganga to be the one talking about releasing search audio especially since he’s being vetted to head an institution that should take confidentiality seriously.
It is wrong of Hon. Tayebwa to make such statements whether it’s true or not.
If it’s indeed true that Mr Lawrence Muganga recorded the proceedings of a private Vetting process, then it’s gonna be hard for him to get close to Mzei.
Because he won’t trust him. Like how? What if he records Cabinet meetings 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 What was the motive for recording though?
Anyway. I don’t have any problem with him or anyone of his kind. All I want is service for all Ugandans.
@HusinahNassuna Whatever recording there is, it leaves the same impact. But also I can’t be very sure it’s the actual recording. So all that is speculation. Also if you read well, i started my post with if it’s indeed true, meaning at the moment there’s nothing concrete that i can base on. Lol
By the way, President Museveni didn’t do any research. Because there’s no way he would have appointed Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba as Government Chief Whip in the first place when the law is very clear on who can be a Chief whip.
But it’s okay, let Muganga come and serve his people. I mean his country.
What is wrong with @ReachDrMuganga having worked in Rwanda? Under EAC common market protocol, there is free movement of labour and services across the EAC. Even Pres. @PaulKagame worked in Uganda and he is President of Rwanda.
I think we should not continue enjoying the peaceful relations between Uganda and Rwanda.
Within Uganda, we have more than 10 million Ugandans who trace their origins in the kingdom of Rwanda.
So let us focus on complying with the law. If he can renounce his other citizenships, Dr. Muganga should be approved by Parliament as Minister of State for Internal Affairs. Pres. @KagutaMuseveni did research before he appointed him. Why do you think Pres. Museveni was meeting him in Nakasero?
