@GuitarmanJoel This is like asking why Van Gogh painted The Starry Night. Nobody asked him to and yet it's now considered one of his most iconic paintings.
If the only kind of art that can exist is that which someone else asked for, we'll never get anything unique ever again.
@artmeetscience_ I think there's a document that indicates Darling's theory is that OoPs are inherently connected to the Board, but there is also another document which details Emily's counter theory where she suggests the possibility that the Board's influence is forced upon them.
@thestrangestyet@Variety@CNN Because they didn't actually watch the clip and only commented based on the clickbait tweet designed to make people think she's making a dumb statement.
@podricksbutt It felt like Herald of Darkness was the culmination of everything Remedy had experimented with, being a combination of a musical performance, live action and gameplay. I don't know if it could ever be surpassed, but I'm sure whatever we get in Control Resonant is going to be good
@Tunnelsnakefool I don't know if it's related at all but I've not been able to access the Xbox support website for the past few days. It just shows a "The request is blocked" message
@EthanOfKrypton And still ending it with teaser questions that ultimately mean very little.
But at least he generated some content. That's all you can really ask for right?
@SolomonsCause@TylorStankley2 The "Spring 2027" release window also did not justify their whole "we should actually finish the trailer" thing. If you're gonna pull a stunt like that you should really have a proper release date or use it to shadowdrop the game.
@MrFry_@DippoMagoo I wonder if the people replying "well that's just how story based games start" realise they could have shown any 20 minute sequence that featured a lot of combat instead. It's not like we really need the context for why a GoW protagonist is fighting enemies.
@laughingstormz@OneMadNugget@sawyeurism@RowanWolfson Did he say anything about how much work it would have taken to move the script away from the IP if he couldn't use it? Or if it was always intended to be a RE film?
